Online Earning Mediums and GSA Program

Google keeps launching different programs and services to make our lives easier, Google Student Ambassador, Adsense, Blogger to name a few. More media, all the more opportunities! To introduce and guide students regarding how can they use Blogger and Adsense in order to to earn their own money, and on what this GSA program is and how the students can become a part of it, Google Student Ambassador Muhammad Armaghan conducted a workshop in Government College University where students from all kinds of domains participated.

 

Google for Entrepreneurs

Google for Entrepreneurs is yet another initiative by Google for financing and providing monetary support of entrepreneurs and startups with catchy and creative ideas to provide and nurture technologists of future. Following this program, a Google for Entrepreneur Week was launched across the globe. This week was also scheduled to take place in Pakistan where different cities were hosting the event. Entrepreneurs and startups were asked to submit their ideas and if the ideas were good enough, Google agreed to finance their startup/idea. In Islamabad, this event was organized, managed and coordinated by the BMC team.

WebDev Workshop For Beginners

Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning, simply known as WebDAV is an extension of the traditional hypertext protocol that lets you perform remote content authoring tasks and sync different file systems supported by your native OS with an online server. Google has launched its own version of this application for Google Drive, Calendar and much more, in order for you to be able to access from virtually any location. To further elaborate the utility brought about by WebDAV for Google Drive, GSA Noor Zehra conducted an introductory session for students.

 

 

Back to school with GSA

Back to School by Google offers different all-in-one chrome books that provide support for notebooks, writing and stationery for students who would soon be back to the school life. Even those who are going to be in school for the first time ever, Google definitely has something for everyone. For shedding light on the convenience of chrome books, Google Student Ambassadors threw a session for students and aspirants and how they can benefit from the lack of hassle of carrying multiple stationary items.

 

Orientation SEECS

SEECS is an undergraduate program offered by NUST Islamabad for various electrical engineering specializations as well as postgraduate and PhD. NUST has collaborated with Google to educate and guide students who bear interest in either electronics, computer systems, networks and communication. A session by Google Student Ambassador Noor Zehra was held at NUST to educate and brief students about SEECS and Google’s collaboration.

 

Google Apps for education & GSA program

Google has multiple applications and programs that have made life so much easier from people from all aspects of life and work environment. Blogger, Adsense, WebDAV, Smart Search, Google Dart, G-Site, Google Student Ambassador Program name a few. To introduce and guide students regarding how can they use all of these different application in order to to earn their own money, and on what this GSA program is and how the students can become a part of it, GSA Muhammad Armaghan conducted a workshop in Institute of Social and Cultural Studies where students from all kinds of domains participated.

 

Google in Education

Google for Education is an initiative by Google as the name suggests where tools for teaching, engaging and educating children regardless of the time, place or device. The objective is to make education as convenient and as easily accessible as possible. Not only tools, financial grants are also provided under this program to schools and education programs. To educate students about the use of Google for Education, Google Student Ambassador Raja Tahir Qaiser conducted a session on Google for Education program.

 

Google I/O Extended Islamabad

Google I/O Extended program offers different options for developers including live-streaming session, codelabs, hackfairs and much more. These events are organized, hosted and coordinated by native developers’ communities.Such an event also took place in Islamabad which was organized and coordinated by BMC team.

Google I/O Pakistan

Google I/O event organized and managed by BMC. Google I/O is an annual software developer-focused conference held by Google in San Francisco, California. Google I/O features highly technical, in-depth sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open web technologies such as Android, Chrome,Chrome OS, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine, and more. Google I/O was started in 2008. The “I” and “O” stand for input/output, and “Innovation in the Open”. The format of the event is similar to that of theGoogle Developer Day.

 

 

 

 

SEO & Google Adsense

SEO or search engine optimization is an integral topic of discussion when it comes to search engines and achieving optimal results. Google, being one of the most popular search engines realizes the significance of this technique in a tech-savvy person’s life and that is why under Google’s banner, an event on SEO was organized at University of Management and Technology by Google Student Ambassador Muhammad Armaghan. Not only that, this event also covered Google Adsense, a tool offered by Google with which you can make money by putting the best ads on your website/blog without doing much work.
