Developer Circles from Facebook

It would come as a shock if you came across someone who doesn’t know about Facebook. It is by far the most popular social networking platform that this planet has known or will ever know. But who created this phenomenon if we can recall? The people considered to be the driest when it comes to their profession. Yes, we are talking about programmers and developers. And ironically enough, most of the information technology giants like Google are geared towards empowering this community.

Programs, events, training sessions are launched in order to create awareness and passion amongst pupil. A similar program, Facebook is launching a program of its own, called Developer Circles, a global platform for developers across the globe. The developer circles from Facebook, program will be launched in select cities around the globe and will be led by Leads, like Usama and Danish who is currently serving as community leader in Pakistan, and will be responsible for launching programs offline while managing online activities. The program will also engage local developer communities in order to collaborate, access and share knowledge and organise and facilitate events.

Developer Circles From facebook, an awareness program was conducted by Usama and Danish about the Developer Circles in LUMS on 2nd September, 2016. The event also included giveaway t-shirts, which were manufactured by a team at Business & Management Consultants (BMC)

He also mentioned that now it is going to operate and establish itself in Pakistan as well, how freelancers can earn good money for their skills unlike the traditional freelancing schemes. Crossover works in collaboration with companies and organizations looking for new hires. Crossover takes care of all the hiring process and provides the best suited candidate for the job. This also provides the candidate with their best shot where they can work from the comfort of their home.

Just like Google Hackfair and P@SHA ITC awards, this event also was organized and managed by BMC (Business & Management Consultants). BMC always manages to provide the best event organization experience. Likewise this event managed to attract quite an audience. The ambience was great, the management was flawless, the event went on very smoothly and everyone seemed content.

These events are organized, hosted and coordinated by native developers’ communities.Such an event also took place in Islamabad which was organized and coordinated by BMC team.

Google I/O Pakistan

Google I/O event organized and managed by BMC. Google I/O is an annual software developer-focused conference held by Google in San Francisco, California. Google I/O features highly technical, in-depth sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open web technologies such as Android, Chrome,Chrome OS, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine, and more. Google I/O was started in 2008. The “I” and “O” stand for input/output, and “Innovation in the Open”. The format of the event is similar to that of theGoogle Developer Day.

SEO & Google Adsense

SEO or search engine optimization is an integral topic of discussion when it comes to search engines and achieving optimal results. Google, being one of the most popular search engines realizes the significance of this technique in a tech-savvy person’s life and that is why under Google’s banner, an event on SEO was organized at University of Management and Technology by Google Student Ambassador Muhammad Armaghan. Not only that, this event also covered Google Adsense, a tool offered by Google with which you can make money by putting the best ads on your website/blog without doing much work.

Dart Flight School Event

Flight School programs allows beginner developer community to up the dart game. It is an online tutorial course that will help make your game from basic to pro level in the world of game. It is of particular interest to those having recreational interest in games. Developer communities from around the world hosted and participated in an event held at Plan9-TechHub which was organized and coordinated by the BMC team.

How to become Google Student Ambassador

Google Student Ambassador (GSA) Awais Imran, student of National University of Science and Technology (NUST), organized event “How to become Google Student Ambassador” at Bahria University in collaboration with IEEE and logistic support of BMC.

How to become GSA (3rd event)

Google’s GSA program invites students to apply and be able to get a chance to represent Google and its objective in their respective regions. Under this program, the selected students get to introduce and educate their fellow students about what new apps, programs, activities and programs that Google is and will be offering. GSA Awais Imran, a student at the National University of Science and Technology organized a seminar about this very program at NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), in collaboration with IEEE and logistics support from BMC.

Google Business Group Lahore

Google Business Groups are passionate individuals and groups of individuals, entrepreneurs and businessmen, who are willing to collaborate in order maximize their business/ideas returns and results by using Internet and more specifically Google’s web technologies. This program was also launched in Pakistan under South-East Asia region and a session that was organized by BMC team and conducted at Lahore College and University for Women by female coordinators from Google team. Giveaways were also presented at the end of session and were prepared and manufactured by BMC Pakistan.

Google Student Ambassador program is launched in various regions of the including different continents including South East Asia, Australia and Africa. South East Asia includes various countries and Pakistan is one of them. Goodies for Google Student Ambassador South-East Asia were manufactured and delivered to event venues by the team at BMC.
